Hostetler featured in E.S. Lawrence Gallery

E. S. Lawrence Gallery on South Galena Street in downtown Aspen Colorado are representing Hostetler sculptures.  Owners Ken and Kathy Johnson have already met Hostetler collectors who spotted the work in the window. Two outstanding woods, Classic Lady in walnut and Asherah in zebra are the centerpieces surrounded by smaller bronzes. Outside across from the Little Nell Hotel is Homage to Woman and Seated Woman, bronzes enjoying the snow and people watching.

I am going to be curious as hell if you will remember me and care enough to get back. It's me Bob the first guy you met and your oldest (though long lost)friend on Nantucket. Can you ever forget you and I bringing our conga drums to a party on the Cliff and wailing the night away much to amusement of the "high-brows"? I have never forgotten my dear old friend and all the good times we had. Bob Gonsalves

Hello David, I just watched your movie on PBS and purchased the dvd. I know my father (Sam Nass) would love to watch. My father has such fond memories of you, your art, your family and days in Athens.
My dad is 88 years old and doing pretty well with the help of my sister and me.
I recently made some collages of my dad's work and would love to share with you. If you have an email address I would like to send you copies.

I hope you are doing well and look forward to hearing back from you or Susan.

Thank you.

Just to fill in a piece of information. My wife bought me "Maid of Nantucket" as a wedding present in Columbus, Ohio 36 years ago. It has had aplace of honor in our homes since. We now live on the San Antonio Riverwalk, fending off senility and the Maid looks back at me from her custom framed niche daily! We have the National Geographic book but seldom bring it out as the Maid speaks much better.
